My dad has been at Vibra Hospital since August 3rd after being at Sanford Hospital since July 23rd. I had heard many not so good things about Vibra. He had fallen and has a skull fracture and a significant brain bleed. When he was stabilized at Sanford he moved to Vibra. I am very pleased with the care my dad received at Vibra. He has made a lot of good progress while at Vibra. He could not move his right arm or hand at all when he got there and now he can. He is starting to say numbers clearly and some words. He still has a long way to go. He is leaving Vibra today and starting the next step in his journey. Dad is going to the Frazee Care Center in Frazee, MN I want to thank Amanda and Greg and all the wonderful Nurses, RT'S and CNA'S and Therapist for caring for my dad while he was in your care!! Thank you, Wayne Welu

After reading many of the good and bad reviews I felt I needed to speak up. Vibra hospital is one of the only places I know that takes the toughest of the tough patients. Most have already been in the hospital or ICU setting far too long and by the time they get to Vibra are just plain sick of being in the hospital. Families are exhausted, frustrated and ready to get home. Not all outcomes will be what is wanted or desired. However this is where I started my nursing career way back in the day when it was SCCI. This hospital is unique in the type of patients they take and the care they provide. Most patients that come are not sent home in a day or two they stay often weeks or longer. This allows you to really get to know your patients and often many of their families. While working there I have seen the most kind compassionate nurses and staff give care far beyond the expectations. It is a very difficult time in a patients life and the respect and dedication of the staff here have impressed me. Every hospital in any community and profession can always have a "bad apple" in the crowd that gives everyone a bad name. But I wanted to let people know that this hospital has very kind, well trained and dedicated staff that honestly care for their parents day in and day out... Often with little notice or appreciation and Least of all a "thank you" for all that they do well. In today's world we only hear the negative. I just wanted to let others know that there are many many positive things that happen there every day. I know this has shaped my nursing career and has made me the nurse I am today. I do not currently work there as I have moved but it has given me the passion I have for taking care of medically complex patients and their families. I want to give a big thank you to all our fellow nurses and staff and say thank you for all you to each day. Don't give up despite social media. Keep your compassion!!

I have worked for Vibra for 5 years now first as an RN doing wound care and then as a nurse practitioner. I've learned a lot in my time at Vibra and have seen many complex cases that I may not have seen otherwise. Being long-term acute care I'm given the opportunity to develop relationships and work closely with my patient for an extended period of time. I believe the vast majority of our staff truly care for the patients they take care of and work hard to help them heal. I encourage anybody looking for a job that will help grow their skills 2checkout Vibra. We are a small group and get to know each other well. I'm moving on to another career area and thank Vibra for the opportunity to grow and learn!

Husband is there now and there is an angel pharmacist and the nursing supervisor is responsive. Good food and nice sized rooms. I have not met a person like Michele who is the actual director. She cares beyond her scope and is able to calm people. Plus she's got a good humor and wit. I can't recommend them enough. If you are there and hear laughing in the hospital it's probably her.

As a current patient I am getting used to the staff and such here. But so far I must say great care. Nurses are nice to you and very very helpful. Some staff make you feel like you not even a patient receiving care. Doctors overall I like. They actually include you in your care and when you ask them questions they take the time with you not make u feel like you need a degree to understand them. Food service is very good also. They could add some more options but still very good.
